"A desperate king tries to summon a being, unaware of how dangerous it is to him. This being promised him power.

The game starts with Yuna, a daemon who is half-human as well. Her friends are Nova, a mage who charges at every chance for a way to test her skills, Alex, a knight who has royal ties to the king but works with Yuna to defend his honor and Yuna overall, and Rin, a healer who has learned to be a great archer and is a long-time friend of Nova’s more than the others.

They are brought together by normal means, however the threat of the evil summoned by the king brings them even closer."

Dark Hearted is designed for all kinds of players. If you enjoy story focused RPGs, you can experience the world, characters, and narrative without needing to be farming or play hardcore. If you enjoy a challenge then there are difficulty options and battles that will test your planning, party setup, and resource management.

Whether you play for the story, the character development, the exploration, or the challenges, the game aims to provide an enjoyable experience for every type of RPG fan. Take your time and enjoy the adventure, or push yourself to your limits...without becoming a corrupted demon...

Dark Hearted is heavily inspired by the classic JRPG: Final Fantasy.

Class System: 

Abyss Knight, Yuna

Yuna is an Abyss Knight, a warrior who combines swordsmanship with dark magic. Her ATK and MAG are both high, allowing her to deal heavy physical and magical damage. This comes at the cost of lower DEF compared to a Crusader Knight, making her more vulnerable to enemy attacks. As she builds TP in battle then she can unleash powerful dark magic techniques to enhance her combat abilities.

Crusader Knight, Alex

Alex is a Crusader Knight, a heavily armored warrior trained in elven combat. He does not use magic, but makes up for it with high HP and DEF that is allowing him to withstand attacks that would overwhelm other party members. By spending TP, he can inspire and strengthen the party, increasing both their ATK and DEF.

Arcanist, Nova

Nova is an Arcanist, like a Black Mage.  While her physical attacks are weak, her MAG and INT are among the highest in the party. She specializes in classic black magic, dealing massive elemental and magical damage to enemies from a distance.

Blessed Ranger, Rin

Rin is a Blessed Ranger, combining powerful healing magic with skilled archery. His healing abilities are among the strongest available to his class, making him an essential support member. Having trained as an archer since his teenage years, he is capable of dealing respectable physical damage as well. While his ATK is high, his MAG is even higher, allowing him to excel at healing and support. He is currently the only dedicated healer in the group, so without him, the party must rely on potions and other recovery items.

Food Buff System

Food can be purchased and used during battle to temporarily increase stats for several turns. Unlike magic skills, food items do not require MP, making them a good resource when conserving magic or supporting the party in difficult fights orr if you want a good challenge.
